This is one of many reasons why I've repeatedly emphasized to clients
that inward-facing firewall rules are just as important as outward-facing
rules.

However, either due to my lack of presentation skills or to a widespread
lack of understanding, that advice has been ignored almost every single
time I've given it.

So in the immortal words of Bender Bending Rodriguez: "We're boned".
