Not exactly sure who you are accusing of Narcissistic Individualism. My
lemma is that the mass of humanity, sensed as a group over time,
exhibits an intelligence that the brightest and best educated, acting as
an elite in rarefied confines, fail to.

IE: That a Democratic Republic has a better chance of averting
catastrophe than an Oligarchy.

History tends to prove my point.
