One particularly slow afternoon a couple of years back I kept a nice 
chap with a thick Indian-ish accent who claimed to be "Tony from 
Microsoft" on the line for just shy of 1h 45m while pretending to look 
in my Event Viewer, struggle to download and install a remote control 
application, etc, etc.  I probably could have kept him on the hook 
longer (I considered installing the remote access app in a VM and let 
him play around there for as long as possible), but I was getting 
pretty bored by then...
