Hi Pascal,

I think you are misinterpreting me what I mean to say is suppose I have a
file which is already dissected and then I want to export it, so at that
time I want to make changes to that hex file.
Is there some way I can achieve this using wireshark or the answer is no ?

The answer is NO, and the question is not well posed. Do you want to
edit the bytes without regard for the structure there or do you want
to be able to edit the bytes with full knowledge of the structure (ie,
the payload within payload ...)

Hi all,

I want to process a dissected packet before exporting it as an hex file in
wireshark but I am not able to find where to start from.

Can someone help me out with this problem?

As Guy already explained you, Wireshark is not designed to modify
packets, only to interpret their content. So this is not the right tools for
your needs and that's probably why no one else replied to your previous
similar questions.

Best regards,
Pascal.
