It's a precursor to the '74 paper, and you can see the references to the exploits that were fleshed out for the '74 paper. If you read very carefully, you can see reference to 1972 buffer overflows and shellcode, in Fortran.

That's a nice follow-up, I hadn't seen that one yet.

Now, I know there are some vulns to be found in the 1965-69 range... let's see some documentation (or mail the OSVDB guys directly, if you want to go for the prize.)
