Very easy, but unnecessary. The new RFID passports will come with their own
tinfoil shields built into the covers. An RFID passport will only be
readbale when it is opened up.

WRT RFID passport protection:

Does anyone know what it will take to block the RFID transmissions? In other
words, how easy would it be to take a common leather passport wallet and add
some sort of foil or screen that would hide or garble the RFID signal unless
the wallet and password are open for inspection?
