Hi guys, just a quick note.

I don't mind one bit people harvesting the email addresses of those who 
post here, as after all - this particular list is public. I don't mind 
the people who harvest the addresses joining the list, it is open.

However:

It should be noted that a guy known to have done that to more secure and 
private lists to start some malware and phishing lists of his own just 
joined, so you should all expect solicitation emails soon if you haven't 
got them yet.

Further, some of you may be forcibly added to a mailing list.

Nothing you shouldn't expect on an open list, but an FYI from me, the 
"moderator" who learns from history.
