Good to know that I'm not the only security geek who is also

Lately, I've been a big fan of Dry Creek Zin (Bella,
Preston), Sonoma Coast Pinot (Flowers, Fort Ross), and Santa
Barbara Syrah (Ojai, Beckmen).

Syrah is good. Yellow Syrah is really cheap but pretty good. That is one
misinformation about wine..it doesn't have to be super costly to be
good, but I do believe in the old saying - "You get what you pay for."

20 bucks to around 50 bucks is my range. I am sure there are many great
wines out there but a good night is a bottle (or two) of Ruffino and
good friends. Replace the wine with Guinness and there you have another
great night. Lol
