I don't want to rely on the VPN which, in any event, imposes a performance hit on streaming video. Is there a good general solution around this problem?
Rise up, users, and throw off the shackles of repressive DRM! Sorry Larry - the only two realistic whitehat options in the US at this time are to either refuse to play the game, or somehow manage to get the rules changed. Now, if you're not worried about it being a totally *legal* bypass of their restrictions, you *could* always go black hat and find some schmuck with a hackable Windows box on a cablemodem, and use any of the popular connection laundering packages to bounce the packets off his box. But you already knew that, right? :)
