Its just ridiculous that They monitor the Quakers. I was raised Quaker
and have done volunteer work for AFSC before.

I know from personal experience that not only would the Quakers avoid
injuring Musca Domestica, but would then proceed to pay for therapy to
treat its apparent bulimia disorder.

Do all Quakers have exactly the same set of beliefs?

No. I am a Jewish Quaker (not practicing), the guy who sat next to me
at Meeting was a Muslim Quaker, the older lady next to him was a
Catholic Quaker.

In america, the only prerequisite for joining the Religious Society of
Friends is that you be non-violent (AFIK).

well that and you cant wear pants with zippers ;-)

Right - so if there's different groups of Quakers with different sets of
beliefs, how do you know there isn't a Fundamentalist sect of Quakers that
embraces violence instead of rejecting it? Consider, for example,
Christianity, which is a religion of love and peace, with a commandment
"Thou shalt not kill", but which nevertheless has had groups of people who
called themselves Christians who seem to think that this commandment
doesn't apply.
