P.S. The word is "arse", it comes from the Olde Englisc "ears", which  
became Middle English, "ars", which became Modern English "arse".

Somewhere along the line the US deviated from the Early Modern English and  
equated the backside with a donkey...

Whilst I love a good flame fest as much as the next sentient being, this  
thread reminding me very much of the good old days of alt.nuke.the.USA. We  
should avoid stereotypes - it makes life far too easy.
