Interesting article. However, Honda talks about making hydrogen from
natural gas which seems like a non-starter. It would be better to burn
natural gas in a car directly like this other Honda model:

The 8-hour fill type however seems like a big drawback. I wonder why the
time is so long.

There's some guy in California who got a hydrogen fuel cell car from Honda
for a lease of $500 as a month as a tester.

I wonder how many people have been begging Honda to be testers ;-)

I think alternative fuels, like Hydrogen perhaps, is the certain answer. AS
LONG as it's not a petroleum byproduct.

If I could, I'd switch my Impala over to Hydrogen power just to stick it
to the oil companies.... Even if it still cost me the equivalent of $3.25 a
gallon of gas, I'd switch over.... Heck I'd even make my own hydrogen just
to stick it to them, um, maybe...(I'm not using recycled cooking oil yet, so
maybe there is a limit of how far I'll go....)

Well, I just bought a Prius. Best damned car I've ever owned. Just

It freaks me out to move without hearing an engine though

its still cool tho, kinda like george jetsons car. Has a power button
and everything :-)

I thought they only got 40mpg?

There is ajournalist here in San Jose, that has been publishing his
'adventures' with HIS Prius... He claims that he is getting 52+ mpg.
Others claim 55+...

I've read that there are some sfotware 'hacks' that raise the mileage to
100mpg... Of course, that plays havoc with your warranty...
