Hmm. I used to carry around...
M16 (long)
Galil (Long, HEAVY)
Glilon (Short, HEAVY)
M16 (Short)

The M16 barely weighs anything, it's all about the bullets. I had my two 
mags in a double holder I could stick on my belt. It wasn't too heavy.

Than again, I am 197 cm, so our definitions may differ.

I do miss that weight sometimes still, but I have my Glock.

I shoot for sports (although I haven't really done it in a while) and I 
haven't carried my Glock on my in a while now. I am not a fan of guns, but 
I like guns.
