Gee, I seem to remember a little company called MCI that installed microwave transmission networks between Chicago and St. Louis in the 1970's.
Local business reporting is always so much fun to read. Local boys with big ideas make us proud.
On the other hand, how many banks really know exactly how their existingtranmission facilities are routed or re-routed. If they aren't already using encryption and other security methods, outside plant infrastructure
such as NIDs, man-holes, telephone holes, etc aren't well guarded either. And can you imagine sending financial instruments in paper envelopes only secured by a bit of glue left in unsecured boxes next to the road. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
