I guess I'm just a conservative sheep, but I don't see the patriot act

I know the patriot act has caused a massive increase in data capture in
banking transactions and has created a lot of SARBOX controls, but
otherwise, I havent noticed the increase of black helicopters or agent
Smith's walking around..

No one has ever called me a sheep, and I am VERY conservative, but remember,
liberties are not voluntarily surrendered en bulk, but rather by little
nibbles..... "some one should do something", "I'm offended", "I don't see why
some one should/ would...." and "there should be a law" are the greatest
threats to individual rights the world has ever seen. Remember, the road to
hades (slavery and a nanny state) are paved with good intentions.
