Thatks for that -- although it doesn't make me feel better
(our government leaders make me uneasy enough without any
additional influences), it adds some reasonable issues to
consider.

The point I was trying to bring up has really nothing to do
with Dubai, or the UAE, but rather the fact that the decisions
taken by the U.S. government leaves one scratching their heads
on a constant basis. :-)

Dubai is the only major middle eastern city that has not suffered a terrorist attack ever. So actually this acquisition 
might bring in some invaluable experience in terms of preventing terrorism from happening in the first place.
