3) Is it just me, or does it seem that the ultimate result of this will be improved virii? What's a virii?
The word is a (nonstandard) plural of "virus". Even though most malware are not virn [another such nonstandard plural] in the usual sense, they are commonly so called. (I'm not sure it's actually an incorrect term, either; while they do not attach to ("infect") other software, the term makes sense if you think of a machine, rather than a program, as the infected entity.) /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse () rodents montreal qc ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
